Does anybody have any gearbox undertray brackets for sale for a 1938 three speed Squirrel. the ones at the rear of the tray that clamp onto the frame. My ones have been modified at some time in their life and it is almost impossible to line up the rear footbrake shaft holes so it does not bind up the shaft. The rear brake is on the lefthand side . If anyone has tips drawings, sketches or pictures on how these should look it would be greatly appreciated.
I discovered that my gearbox undertray had cracked along an old weld, I was lucky enough to get a new undertray from Maurice Chivers (long live the individuals of Scott owners club) I decided that while the gearbox was out the frame I would take the opportunity to make a new output shaft bearing with the o’ring oil seal modification as shown in Steven Enticott’s CD version of Scott technicalities 10.3 hint & tips page 27 (thanks Steven). This complete I am now struggling to get these brackets re-aligned due to them being modified.
