Hello All,
I am restoring for the second time my 1938 model which has been laid up for many years, this time I wish to fit the lighting set that has lain on the shelf since I aquired the bike nearly 40 years ago, can anyone supply a wiring diagram.

That’s easy, have a look at Jan Buchwald’s posting “Electronic Regulators” in Sources of Supply on this forum. It gives the link to Jan’s website that contains the Scott wiring diagram.

You might also be interested to know that Armour of Bournemouth http://www.armoursltd.co.uk can supply a universal wiring harness (ref WH1) with diagram for about £20.

Thanks Richard,
I had a look at Jans site, there is a diagram for the three brush dynamo type, and the post war distributor model but not for my model.

It’s worth doing a search of the forum, Roger Hulett asked for a 2 brush diagram in Nov 2008 but didn’t get any response. There is also a suggestion that there are errors in the Technicalities (5.1.01) circa 1930 wiring diagram that is also for a 3 brush dynamo.

If you are in the VMCC the ad. for AO Services in the back of the journal looks helpful http://www.aoservices.co.uk .

You may have gathered that I have the same ambition, and with a 2 brush dynamo!
