Where would one normally expect to find the frame number on a 1936 flyer? I think mine has been painted over (a few times!) so I would like to know where to look before I go scratching around!
It should be on the LEFT hand side, and on the part of the lug that is a continuation of the top left hand frame tube. If it is anywhere else it is probably not genuine. This does not apply to two-speeder type frames.
