No Erik, not lost, but seldom seen these days.
In the 1980’s, two unrestored Mercury Scotts were on a trailer at a Stanford Hall Annual Gathering. I believe that one was PNJ 953, which subsequently appeared nicely restored at the 1990 Gathering and was last seen by me on the road, as a participant in the SOC Northern Section Derbyshire Run on 2nd June 1996.

Further to my previous comments, I can now add a bit more detail and make a correction. The Mercury in the photo is not the one recently restored for the owner by Klaus Kretzschmar. That machine is SMS339, ex-Laurie Jenks, ex-Roger Maughling, ex-Derek Light. The survival rate is that of the four machines built, three are complete, but only the frame survives of the tubular-framed machine, which was registered as AMG108, but that number has been transferred to the aluminium beam framed machine shown in the photo. All are now with the same owner in Germany. Thank you Dieter for the information.
