Hi all,
It’s already £1100 to expensive if you have to buy the forks! It isn’t a TT rep either, the engine numbers for these were RZ not FZ! You are right about the frame number, less than 4000 is about right for 1930.
Have a look at 290390766447, the most overpriced pile of bits I have ever seen! £2995 for a frame fork and engine!
The first bike could cost £4k plus to restore but the second, even if you could find the missing bits is not an economic project unless you build a special. Even the wreck that Bonhams sold at Beaulieu was better than either of these two and cheaper and that was complete bar the front mudguard and had the original reg number which neither of these have!
I just cannot understand why people pay huge prices for piles of bits when the rare and hard to find parts are long gone and what is there is in an appalling state.
Cheers for now
James
