Hi Erik,
I think it’s OK to use 3/16″ plate wheels. 3//16″ is .1875″ and 4.5mm is .177″.
The chains driving the 2 speed unit have a terrible life, they contend with misalignment,
thrashing, road grit and poor lubrication. What’s 10 thou when considering the above.
