To add to the confusion! I have a similar problem compounded by the fact that I did not buy a complete bike more a collection of Scott parts that have all, it appears, come from different machines.
In my search for what my completed bike should look like I was helped by a collection of slides taken by John Rose. I have put these all together on a CD and I have put a copy in the post to you.
Hope it may help to aswer some of the questions.
