No, Erik. I bid £2200 at the last second and was just outbid. I spoke to the owner, who’d had it for 24 years, and it had a swinging arm conversion to a standard frame, and the motor was broadly ok, all just a little scruffy. If anything, it was a bit too good for my project and somebody else has probably got a cheap, running Scott-and that’s a good thing!
In the New Year I’ll advertise in Yowl for a non-runner, get a hot motor built, fit a oil pump like yours, concentrics, strip it down and fit a decent front end and brake. Should be fun.
