Dear Alex,

When you use the expression “hexagonal socket head screw (cheese head)” what do you mean?

A cheese head screw (BSW) would have a cylindrical (round) slotted head.
Such an animal is available in 1/4″ BSW (20 tpi) w/ 1/2″ length under the head – you will have to cut 1/8″ from the length.

Do you mean a cheese head scew with an internal hexagon in the head, like an Allen screw (Unbrako), or do you mean a bolt with a hexagonal head (also available).

I suggest that you study the catalog of stainless screws, bolts and nuts at

D. Middleton & Son in Batley, West Yorkshire has an impressive selection of exotic stainless hardware. They are very helpful, efficient and quick.

Kind regards,

Carl
