Sold for $7150.00 plus the 10% buyer’s premium. Obviously not a TT Replica but the auctioneers felt that if it was a Replica engine it had to be a TT replica. It was expected to do much better as a 1948 Dowty forked Scott in similar condition had the hammer drop at $11,000.00 plus the 10%. At Barbers there was also a very nice 1948 EMC that fetched $6150.009plus the obligatory 10%.
