I’ll give Charlie a call and see what he says – the hotel may have some paranoia about having a motorcycle inside the building incase it spontaneously combusts or something. Mind you if it is in a bad mood you could not get the old girl started even if you wanted too….
I would not worry about the content, I’m sure anything will go down well and to be honest I feel the Institution should recognise more of the historical engineering works being I’m sure there will be people there who have never heard of a Scott, let alone “heard a Scott”!
Hopefully see you there. Some sectioned engines would go down well too being it is a little different to most with the overhung cranks and central flywheel.
