Many thanks to Eric for putting my photos on the forum. As you will probably see from the photos, the pinstriping and painted “ribbons” on the tank are in the wrong position. They should be more horizontal, seen from the side. The basic colour on the tank and on the legshields is more lilac blue than “mazarin” purple.

Does anyone know the correct position, width and colour of the petrol tank “ribbons” and pinstriping on the tank? The bike was restored in the 1960’s or 1970’s and used to belong to Walter Green (registration HE 5). The paintwork is therefore not the original from the factory, but a restorer’s approximation.

I would sincerely appreciate help from one or more of the members.
