I question the saying that all publicity is good publicity.
I recently read the August edition of Real Classic magazine in which there was a very good spread about Scotts. There was one jarring passage in it that said “if you have a bike where spares availability is almost none existant, then owners with knowledge and resources must make their own. The example was a Scott long undertray that had been made. I am sure it was a great credit to the man who made it and I understand that many of us with facilities have made spares, but to have a big spread about Scotts and then proclaim to quite a wide audience, including what might have been some prospective converts that there were almost no spares was “Unfortunate” By this token Scotts are only for engineers with machine tools in the shed. Again, this is too near the truth to be funny R
