I was the other Scott entrant, a 1930 Flying Squirrel tourer. I finished the course but missed out Haggs Mine as a close/medium gearbox and slipping the cork clutch had me in severe difficulties last year! also I avoided High Lonnen for the same reason.
I had to retire at Velvet Path last year when when the drive to the oil pump failed, fortunately I noticed it before any damage was done.
I am in the results as riding an Enfield as I took over another entry. It was as usual a great motorcycling day out. Tom Norman and all the team have ensured that this event goes from strength to strength .
