Hello Jan, Lewis and Erik. Thanks for your replies and welcomes. As soon as I’d posted that I wandered off to the Scott technicalities again and read further. I soon realised the typical ‘new bloke’ trap I was falling in to! After only an hour or so I got the gist of why a dripper system is desirable, that mine is exactly that and functioning too.
I will look back at the 2008 posts too, but in the meantime I await my SOC membership and first copy of Yowl with excited anticipation!
Happily the bike is taxed and tested and running quite well. The clutch was giving me some worries but I think I have it beaten now. I will/already have queries brewing, but will have a good scout round the corners you all suggest. Thanks for the tip off about handook on your site, Erik. I have been there already a few times but missed that! Nice site though, and your video on you tube made me smile as well 🙂
