I think it is titled to draw people to the ad rather than an attempt at disguising its real model. Looks tidy but tell me, would it have had inverted levers in 1930 or not? I know in 29 they were fitted, when did Scott change over to conventional, or was it a kind of optional extra to the buyers request?
For info there is also a late 40’s or early 50’s Scott with Dowty’s and distributor ign in Franklins, Port Erin, IOM. They had it up for £6k but it looked tidy enough. Seems a few are coming onto the market at the moment after a good while of very little on offer.
