My memory might be crap ,but I don’t remember any tab washer on the big end of my machine, my book of Scott(32) does not describe one on the tear down , nor does my 48 edition.
I read that lateral clearance should be 0.003″. I can’t remember what mine was ,but if there was a problem with mine it would of been sorted a few years ago when I overhauled and modified the bottom end.
