Geoff – As a thought, If your coming down the M6 at all your more than welcome to pop in and see a correct “red” on my 1958 Scott – which also has the correct lining on the tank (gold and orange stripes).
Some of the bikes Matt produced had only red petrol and oil tanks with black mudguards, but most had the mudguards red as well.
