I was very interested to read your post re chain oiler tanks. I feel confident in the accuracy of the pattern lent to me by Brian Marshall, but I would still like to know details of yours and the fixing brackets. From past experience I am getting a feel for the way that the factory did things and have some idea of what is required. I have seen, and been guilty of producing a well made item secured by an inelegant mounting arrangement – jarring to the eye and a waste of effort, so I would be especially pleased to see yours. If you are able to send me some details, a few photos or a sketch, then I would be able to produce the complete item ready to fit to the bike.
