If only it was that easy Derek…. The platform for A/C mags, as used on 1931-1933 Flyers, 1930 Sprint Specials, Dirt-Track Models, and Reynolds Specials, had totally different mounting lugs on the frame, with two of them horizontal, so that the platform adjusted up and down, rather than backwards and forwards. To anyone reading this and wondering…. Derek bought from me a 1939 framed Flyer that had been converted to rear swinging arm suspension, BUT the engine is an earlier one from a single downtube framed Scott, and the engine has no mag sprocket on the flywheel, and so the builder opted for a clutch-driven anti-clockwise magneto, mounted on a home-made/fabricated mag platform, to fit the 1939 duplex frame.
