Do not use modern multi grade oil. Classic SAE 40 or 50 straight oil Many folks have used two stroke oils without problems so ask around. I was persuaded to use a modern oil some years ago “Rock Oil” or something similar and the bike went slower. Scotts like a fairly thick oil.
