With highly flammable air/petrol mix circulating through the crankcase of a Scott, and most other two-strokes, it seems pretty obvious to me that a ‘wasted spark’ is inevitably going to cause MAJOR problems, with combustion occuring in the crankcase. I’m surprised that the ignition system makers can deny this. It has certainly caused you a lot of expensive damage ! I shall remain content with magnetos…..
