Having just finished my mag which is working very well you may well find the condenser is breaking down. I would think it unlikely to be the primary or secondary coil, but possible, it could even be a crack in the slip ring or just a build up of carbon inside the housing from the earth brush and pickups. I used Brightspark for spares, they also have a good fault finding page and are very helpful. Depends if your a have a go yourself or send it away for refurb guy. I take it you’ve already checked the points etc and the spring arm is well away from contacting the points body or case. Kev
