Yes, It was incredibly close and fast.
I did make some protestation at the time that it was a bit too close for comfort but as Graham Redrup who organises the Beezumph trackdays and was sitting in front of me in the grandstand said, he was sure my Dad had done that to other people a thousand times.
I’m not sure Roger ever got into ‘backing it in’ though.
Maybe something to try for next season!
