The Lucas distributor is the DKX2A, centrifugal advance and retard, and the four-cylinder car version is DKX4 or DKX4A (The ‘A’ stands for anticlockwise. Many components will be interchangeable. Many car makers used them, even Ford, in the Model Y. They have a hard life on a Scott as of course they have to turn at engine speed, instead of the half engine speed on four-stroke engines.
