Thanks for your replies guys. The engine I have is a very late Shipley engine modified possibly by Ian Pearce. So no speedway engine! The guy I got the engine from, bought it from someone’s estate at auction and couldn’t give me any info. regarding it’s history other that it hadn’t been fitted to a bike or run.
