Hi Dave I know that Tony K my nearest SOC member has an engine converted by Ian Pearce, I am sure that he told me he greases his engine every 300 miles maybe if he sees this he can comment, regarding petroil, as you know I run mine on petroil and would never have a Pilgrim pump anywhere near a two stroke engine, I would always use the best synthetic two stroke oil available regardless of cost, after all none of us do that many miles on a Scott to worry about oil costs. I use 25/1 mix because I use mine hard, and a normal Scott big end is not really designed for petroil, it`s not designed for direct oiling either! my big ends are different.Alan Noakes. scottworkshop@hotmail.co.uk
