I’ve clipped the nose of a sheep before when it decided a kamikaze dash was in order but nothing more. it is car drivers and horses that worry me more, both are more unpredictable than sheep…. Most roads across the moors and dales have unfenced sheep but natural selection seems to have seen that most stay put when you ride past. The key is to look out for ones facing into the road as they will bolt into the road if spooked.
