Other points to watch are that the early parallel-sided vintage Flyer tank fits in a slot in the TOP of the saddle lug, whereas the later flared-sides tanks fit in the UNDERSIDE of that lug, and firms like AE Reynolds offered tanks to ‘modernise’ earlier models. Do you know the year that your frame comes from ?
