Pools Tools were on Carlton Street, Nottingham. They closed about ten to fifteen years ago. I suspect that many of the machine tools that they sold were not made ‘in house’, and were probably bought in and badged-up as their own. A very brief mention on the internet says that Slack and Parr Ltd., of Kegworth, and Ross and Alexander of London, made a lot of machines for Pools.
