Hi Richard
Make sure the format is a jpeg these are smaller than bmp and png. You can tell by when you do “save as , file type” choose jpeg this should reduce the size significantly. If already a jpeg you will need to reduce its size by using a graphics package such as paint and shrink the image to 256 K. Please accept my apologies for “geeky terminology “
