Mags are a known quantity, and a pro rebuild will probably see it outlasting you. The new electronic conversions, although some swear by them (well they would, wouldn’t they 🙂 ) are still under “long-term testing” and need to be used for a few more years yet before the general reliability is established.
I’d stick with the (rebuilt) mag and dyno, personally.
