The most difficult clip is the one to the top of the head (the one to the bottom of the barrel, whilst difficult, was accomplished – in the end), which will not squeeze closed sufficiently to engage the bolt ; wire around the clip to close it, might do the trick..
I am currently using the flexible pipe, but it has rather a thick wall.
Alternatively, I could try the thin wall standard pipe to see if this is any better.
