I have had several worn-out Scott/Amal carbs rebored and fitted with oversize slides by Martyn Bratby, and always been pleased with the results. He advertises in many of the classic magazines, Old Bike Mart, etc.. The standard slide for the 206/151R is a 6-3. I have found that a 6-3.5 gives slightly better mid-range running with modern petrol. That size was originally made only for Triumph but of course Martyn can supply them on request.
