The notes I have state it as a 1935 Flying Squirrel fitted with a 1931 Powerplus engine. The engine number is correct and one of a batch of Powerplus engines PY 3593 – 3606 made in the first quarter of 1931. It originally had engine no. DPY 4126, but has had PY 3604 since at least 1976. I wonder if the head and block is from the original engine?
