I think that it would have been a blind-head engine in 1931, and I can’t see any evidence of cylinder-wall oiling, but I’m only looking at the pics on a small laptop screen. It seems a bit ‘iffy’ for the vendor to describe it as a 1930 machine when they obviously know that it was registered in 1935….
