Hi, The tank that you have there is a 1928 short-stroke Flying Squirrel tank, the only year that production short-stroke engines were fitted with cylinder-wall oiling. A good tinsmith should be able to repair it, but warn him beforehand that the tank is soldered together, not welded.
Richard Blackburn made a batch of cylinder-wall oiling pump internals last year, for a small batch of TT Replica tanks that he commissioned. He MIGHT have a spare set of pump internals, or you could just blank it off or fit dummy inlet and outlet pipes for appearance’s sake.
