Are they all on 3/8″ thread size ? I ask because Stan Thomas says that they were 3/8″ BSF only, whereas Dave Bushell says that his cylinder head was retained by 16 of them, and cylinder head studs are 5/16″, not 3/8″ !! I was lurking around several WW2 and late 1940s/early 1950s aircraft in pieces on Friday, and looked for dual hex nuts, but found none…..
