Might be a matter of technique if you are a bit rusty with the bike ?? When restarting a Scott it is best to not use the air lever at all, not tickle the carburettor, and open the throttle at least half way. Most seem to need this unless stone cold, when the usual starting technique is necessary. All this assumes that you have an Amal carb, as opposed to an AMAC.( AMAC carbs and me don’t get on !)
