I haven’t got a torque wrench setting, I don’t tighten mine all that much, shortish spanner kneeling alongside without straining at it. I am not a muscle man either. Never had one loosen (yet).

Hi, only bit of advice I have is make sure that there no lip on the sprocket taper and that it is sitting down on the magneto taper, and that the nut is pressing against the sprocket and not the magneto shaft. As prescribed, only a small nip up is required. I’ve been tempted to start to put a dab of paint on things like this so it is obvious if it moves….
