Please explain the steps that should be taken to remove the spindle from a 1947 full width rear hub.
The 7lb lump hammer alternately at each end is not working !!

Don’t know if it is the same hub as fitted to a ‘Birmingham’ but the spindle is held in place by the bearings which have a circlip retaining them.
