I have been enjoying the delights of my late 1930 Super Squirrel this year, but my fun has been cut short by an altercation with another road vehicle that decided it wanted to be on my side of the road as I entered a narrow left hand bend.
The forks are bent and need serious attention to the steerers and blades. They will need to be fully de-constructed and resuscitated with real care…
I have been talking to Barry Jackson who is a super Guy and tremendously knowledgeable.
Whilst my forks are brought back to life, I am seeking a set of forks to allow me to attend the gathering in July…
They are the wide, short steering-head type with a sloping crown fitted with bars on stands – rare as hens teeth no doubt.
Any help to track down a set of forks would be greatly appreciated.
