Hi Colin, you will have to be producing a LOT of horsepower to pull a 24 T sprocket ! ? I’ve never seen one bigger than 23T. If you can find one you may find that the chain mills away the bottom channel of the gearbox tray. An overgeared Scott is not nice to ride… Much abuse of the clutch to get away from a standstill. If your mind is made up Alan Noakes can make you one from a smaller one by grafting on an appropriate sprocket blank.
24T is listed in the spares from the club,but Graham is out of stock.
Am trying to run at a constant 100 mph with tuned 650 motor and a wet weight of 105kg
Also running a wide ratio box with low bottom gear.
I could also make my own sprockets in the same way but have no old ones with good thread.
