I never believed that people could be so short sighted as this club seems to be, I am very very disappointed.
Anyway the conversation about this issue was mainly not from this decison makers so my impression is that all arguments have been in vain because it was never seriously considered to think again about this.

I ASK THE ADMINISTRATOR TO REMOVE ALL MY POSTS AS I HAVE POSTED IN AN OPEN FORUM AND I AM NOT WILLING TO CONTRIBUTE TO AN EXCLUSIVE, CLOSED FORUM!!!!

PLEASE CONFIRM!

I am not sure if my point of view has been put forward yet as I have not read all of these posts, but here it is anyway.

I am not an SOC member, why not?, because I don’t have a Scott (yet). Why am I here?, because I have an interest and may one day seek to buy a Scott.

The actions of the club in closing this forum to members only is a very negative action. If I do buy a Scott will I join the SOC?, probably not. Why not?, because of this stupidity. It seems that not only are the committee making a big mistake they also seem to be unwilling to listen to the membership and consider other opinions. Clubs should operate in a democratic nature, not as a dictatorship or autocratic nature.

Wake up to yourselves !!!!!!

Well its a sad day, Wilfred, I notice you’ve been an active member since 2004. It will be interesting how active the the closed forum will be, there is an indication in the members only area at present read the stats.
