Both Aldi and Lidl have some great tool/workshop bargains from time to time, and I always head to the appropriate display area when I go there, leaving Management to do the boring food shopping. Last year I got an electric hoist, guaranteed for two years, for about £33 pounds, exactly the same make and model being sold elsewhere for between £90 and £100….

Those electric hoists are great. I got mine cheap many years ago from a Makro sale. I use mine in preference to paddock stands. It doesn’t get used for engine removal any more since I sold my Triumph Spitfire. I lost track how many times the engine and/or gearbox had to come out on that 😆
