Thanks to everyone who’s answered all the silly little questions I’ve asked on here since joining, I can now report our ’38 squirrel burst into life last night, this morning/afternoon has been taken up doing all the little odds and sods after the “test fire” unfortunately due to the poor weather I don’t want to give her the maiden voyage.
However while its raining, can someone tell me what the correct ammeter is for my bike? It’s currently fitted with a old miller unit, which I believe will be incorrect. I suspect a Lucas unit should be fitted (as its a lucas mag/dyno), and are the available?
