The loss of the forum and SOC homepage between 23 May and 27 May was caused by an administrative error by our webhost provider. This resulted in the temporary loss of http://www.scottownersclub.org as a domain name (which also meant I couldn’t email the registered users of this forum to say what was happening).
As they sometimes say on the TV ‘normal service has now been resumed’ (hopefully !),
This glitch plus my computer having recently attempted the electronic equivilent of Hari Kari gave me a scare that, at my age, I can do without! Come back man in loincloth with cleft stick — all is forgiven!
