Can any one tell me what the distance is beetween the front fork spindle and the bottom fork yolk when they are fully extended and when you sit on the bike, the kawasaki ones on my special make it look like a of road bike,so need somthing shorter. thank a lot. Eric
Geoff Case wrote an excellent description of the Brum Scott called ‘Build a Better Birmingham Scott’ in 5 installments of which the first on the front forks was published in Yowl in Aug 2005. I believe this has the info you need.
If you have not got a copy of that Yowl, send me an email to my private email address as per the inside cover of Yowl and I will scan and email it to you.
Thanks for that reminder Colin, thats the trouble when you get to be my age nearly 71. every thing goes including memory. I noticed that he also mentiond suzuki forks, does any one know what model suzuki,as I shall have to look on ebay as there are not many bike breakers down here in deepest devon. thanks again Eric
