I received a letter from Bob Torrens, who when I started racing in 1970, was also racing a Scott. At that time, to my recollection, he was the vicar of Eaton Socum. His example raised a few eyebrows and provoked thoughts that the church was perhaps not as highbrow as we had imagined!!
Bob did not see from Yowl, who was responsible for adverts, so sent the info to me as press officer.
I decided that as we have this message board, I would put the info on here and also send off a copy to Roger Tushingham, our new Editor of Yowl, for inclusion in the next edition.
