Birmingham Scott on ebay made £46011,looked a good buy to me. It had lost its original reg. number(511 UG),Otherwise it would have made a higher price. It now carries an “age related” reg. RSJ 553. The Frame Number S1253 makes it a 1960 built bike.

I have it’s very slightly younger brother 513 UG. The frame number is S1255 but it is somewhat cosmetically challenged.

Could you tell me where they were registered??

UG nnn registrations were issued by Leeds From May 1960 till Feb 1961. Perhaps the bikes were despatched to Geoff Milnes premises there.

I have 512 UG, FRAME NUMBER S1254 with a Squire ST2 chair attached. It had been in a museum in Ireland for 16 years and now resides in rural Hertfordshire.

Ian, thank you for the registation information. I dont have any prior history on the bike aside from old tax discs so it’s good to know the place of registration.

Valice, I have never rode a combination but if I did I think it should be on a Scott 🙂

I think it’s nice to know that three consecutive registered bikes are still around today.

Hi,Blaine, I thought you might be interested to know that there are more consecutive registered scotts still taxed and on the road.
KUL 911 first reg.28.05.1949.
KUL 912 first reg. 31.05.1949
KUL 913 first reg. 13.06.1949
and my Scott KUL 914 first reg. 19.07.1949
I wonder if any other make could beat this ?
